Our Story
Our journey with skating began in 2020 when our two kids developed a passion for it. Our son took up hockey while our daughter leaned towards figure skating. However, keeping their skates sharp proved to be quite challenging. We often traveled long distances for this service, and the results were frequently inconsistent.

Out of frustration, I started sharpening skates for our family, friends, and teammates, and I discovered I had a talent for it. When a synchronized skating coach with national experience praised the quality of my sharpening and shared her own dissatisfaction with local services, I realized that I was onto something. That's how SchwendiSharpens came to be.
